Fall Colors & Oktoberfest in Helen Georgia

October 20-23, 2019

This road trip has something for everyone and is just plain FUN and giggles…we promise!

Join Bill and Judy as we go back in time and visit a truly unique area of America

We will celebrate Octoberfest with dinner and dancing (German music with the CHICKEN DANCE) at the longest Octoberfest in the USA in the Bavarian Village of Helen.

We will visit a working grist mill from the 1800’s, go back in time and tour Nacoochee Village, Antique Mall, the Old Sautee Store (from the 1800’s), Habersham Winery, Baby Land General (home of the Cabbage Patch Dolls), Betty’s Country Store, and Fred’s Famous Peanuts.

We will visit Dahlonega (of “thars gold in them hills” fame) and tour a gold mine and you will actually pan for gold and gems. Dinner and music at the Crimson Moon. We will travel the Georgia wine highway and experience several wine tastings. You will have time to explore Helen on your own. We also have some fun things planned on the trip home…..a surprise!

We did this trip 5 years ago and it was a hoot….so come and join us.
